Rented the Hawk's Nest cabin for a weekend getaway with my brothers and I was not disappointed.

The cabin was nestled nicely back in woods with beautiful scenery, and the interior was great too.

With two bedrooms and a loft, there was plenty of sleeping space and as an added bonus each room a box fan for those who need one to sleep comfortably.

The outside has comfortable furniture on the porch perfect sitting and talking out in nature. It has an awesome fire pit and nice grill for cooking out.

With town a short distance away and tons of activities nearby, it's a perfect getaway! I highly recommend Tammy's Kitchen to eat, and Uncle Bucks for horseback riding.

Thanks for an amazing much needed vacation!

Had a great time staying in the Carriage House with my wife. Very clean home with a modern design. There's plenty of space for a party four but it also works well as an intimate space for two.

I would have loved to spend a few more days there to enjoy the porch, grill, and hot tub.

Dealing with the staff was pleasurable experience as they were quick to reply to emails and set expectations ahead of the stay.

Stayed at Primrose House for Mom's Weekend at Ohio University (April 2022). Because all of the hotels around Athens were sold out, I ventured into my first ever B&B experience and boy, was I skeptical. But I needn't have been. The house was spotless and beautifully furnished with antiques, and our room (the Lane room at the top of the stairs) was spacious and comfortable, with an attached full bathroom. The shower/sink had instant hot water, which was DIVINE. There is off-street parking in the lot behind the house, or on-street parking. Our host Angel cooked a delicious breakfast each morning (fresh oatmeal, bacon, coffee cake, fruit, etc.) and was so pleasant. I will be back and I highly recommend. The only reason I didn't make this a 5 star rating was that we were only allotted one set of keys for the house/room. Since my friend and I were going separate ways with our kiddos at OU, we had juggle our schedules to make sure we arrived back at the B&B at about the same time. A very minor inconvenience.
