Cornerstone Church of Christ

Loving group of people focused on living the life of Christ and encouraging others in their relationship with God. Worship is thoughtful, uplifting, filled with God’s word and how it applies in our walk.

The Cornerstone church of Christ has been an answer to many prayers. The teaching and preaching is sound and engaging. We worshiped with Cornerstone via the live stream for a year during Covid. We have been worshipping in person for a year now and have been so blessed. The Cornerstone family loves God and it shows by their love to one another. Come see!

I have been a member of this congregation for seven years, from 2008-2010 and 2015-present. We moved here from KY in 2008 and found a home with these people. They became our family, and when we moved away for school, we desired to come back to raise our son because we knew he would be raised in a strong spiritual family. This congregation seeks God, and I am so blessed to have these elders help guide my spiritual walk. We are a family who loves each other and loves God.

I came to work for the (then) Kettering Church of Christ almost a year ago now back in October 2019. Many interesting challenges have appeared since 2020 happened to us...to say the least. From the pandemic, to increasing cultural tension, life's normal storms, and the process of transitioning to a new building...finding our new identity as the Cornerstone Church of Christ has been both tumultuous and awesome.

In this time, I have witnessed service, care, love, baptisms, people being restored to faith and absolute reverence for God. We are imperfect, and we are learning but we are reaching up to Heaven together. This is not a good church, this is a great church--because it's built on Jesus.

We've been coming to this church for over a year now and it's a wonderful congregation. I've grown so much as a Christian since I've been attending Church of Christ since we were still living in Texas and now here in OH. The congregation is a good size, it's bigger than what I'm used to but still you'll be able to know everyone. They have children's devotional on Sunday morning and bible classes for children and adults, our kids really love going to their bible classes. If you're looking for a bible-based, Christ-centered church with very friendly and welcoming people, you should come and visit this church.
