Freedom Plasma

Clean facility, friendly staff; this does take time. First visit is 3.5 hours and must have appointment. Regular donors are approx. 2 hours. Often there is a line, so plan accordingly. Be sure to drink a lot of water and eat a snack beforehand.
Great way to relax and read a book!
Definitely need to expand hours of operation!

My initial visit took about 4 hrs tops including donation. After that I was never in there more than 2 hrs. Wednesday n thursdays seem to be less crowded. The actual donation for myself is 25-40 minutes so everyone is different. I don't think it's that bad could be worse maybe just get a few more chairs for people to sit while waiting

I have donated at CSL plasma before and the experience at freedom plasma was about the same. I was kind of weary about going after all the bad reviews on Google but to my surprise this place was absolutely not as described by people on Google! I made an appointment about a month and a half ago (because they are so booked) for my first initial appointment they told me that it would be a 3-hour appointment and I was done in two! The wait times and such described were nothing of what I experienced and the staff was friendly and absolutely wonderful! The medical provider was informative, thorough and so sweet. The phlebotomist that stuck me (Heather) was happy and cheery and so sweet as well. My experience at freedom plasma was uncomparable to the reviews on Google.

The initial visit takes much longer due to reading about what's going to happen and physical. The actual process if you are hydrated normally takes 45 minutes to an hour. This facility is still fairly new and they have gotten more employees over the last couple weeks. People need to patient and let the new people get trained properly.
Overall the facility is clean and employees are friendly. I think they have done a great job with the amount of people that come to donate and amount of workers.
My advice is if you see the parking lot is full come back later or another day...they are busy and expect a wait.
