Rocky Fork Dog Park

I received excellent and very prompt care at this facility. From our arrival to departure everyone was kind, courteous and very professional. Special thanks to Dr. Veitniger and Nurse Fadumo for taking the time to explain the care they were providing and answering all of our questions. If you need emergency care in Reynoldsburg and the surrounding area, this is the place to go!

Clean, low level patient interaction professional staff, usually kind but you can get one of those unhappy folks who needs to sign you too! No long wait time they keep you moving I had been to the back twice and back in the lobby before I was assigned a room just when you think you are about to get settled in to wait they call your name, lol. The lobby was comfortable no more than three of us here and I’m not harassed to wear a mask and cover my face.

Nice open areas with grass, plenty of room for dogs to run and play. Unique feature of water sprinklers coming up from the concrete areas. Covered shelter with benches which was since it rained while I was there. Clean and kept up. Off leash trail for hiking.

Be prepared to give your pupper a bath after visiting! We love this park :)

This experience was last year but I had to take my then 3 year old to the emergency room there as I was suspicious of whooping cough (I never had it and unfortunately he passed it to my Godson at the time) and he didn't look like he was getting any better. Most staff were really kind and considerate and the wait wasn't bad (it was the middle of the night though). The only slight issue I had was when the main doctor questioned me as to how it was whooping cough vs a regular cough...as if I didn't know what whooping cough sounded like. Then, preceded to say that whooping cough hadn't been around for ages and that it was the first time he's heard someone having it nowadays....sir....I'm aware but please take it seriously. I'm not bringing my kid to the hospital out of sheer panic here! Of course he did at least check his breathing and though didn't get to hear his cough, he still prescribed medication for it.

Otherwise the staff were quite kind and even let us wait inside as it was too cold for my kiddo to wait for the Uber. I would definitely come back here to be seen...but not to deal with doubt and condensed expressions from a doctor who you'd think would have been as considerate as the rest of the staff.

There are two fenced in dark parks at the front. One small dog and one large dog. There is a third dog park in the back. Some other things there are a community shelter/picnic area for entertaining parties as were as walking and biking trails.

The negative reviews I read on here prior to my visit didn't add up to my actual experience. I read reviews on ill mannered staff and wait times/patients being taken back not in order.

But listen, overall, every staff member I spoke with was kind and considerate. They made me feel more than comfortable throughout the whole thing.

I went in because of bad ongoing back pain and needed an X-ray at the very least, and while the wait in the lobby wasn't long (it was empty when I arrived and only 1 other person came in before I was taken back), the wait in between tests and chatting was longer back in the room as the patients started to arrive. At one point I even heard one of the staff in the hallway apologizing for the wait, explaining they were full. And when I was done the waiting room was pretty full.

I was fine with waiting. This place is an EMERGENCY department, just like a regular hospital. You have to take into consideration that others who might come in after you are in a more severe condition and require more immediate attention. If you were at the end of the line in a waiting room, but very injured, would you really be alright with 'waiting your turn'? I doubt it.

This whole review is basically me oversharing, but that's mainly because I went in not expecting a very good experience and ended up having the complete opposite. I will definitely be going back if I ever need emergency services again.

I’m not going to lie, the wait was about 2.5 hours to be seen, and the lady at the front seems to not like her job. Although, Doctor Burnsides and Nurse Chris L are FANTASTIC! I was having a border line panic attack due to the reason why I was being seen, and they were just so nice and reassuring that everything was going to be just fine. Great doctors/nurse, and fantastic at what they do! You two make that place a better place! Oh LPNs who drew blood and gave my IV and the lady she was training were absolutely amazing as well! I will definitely pick here over MT Carmel East (if I HAVE TO AGAIN, praying I don’t) but just great staff at this location! Thanks for nurturing me back to health!

One of the best dog parks in the area. Clean, well maintained, and dogs have a blast. Great trails, multiple walking paths and off-leash areas for your puppers.
