Beautiful. Sacred. We went when it was colder for the Winter Solstice. If you have an appreciation for this sort of thing you will really enjoy it. A nice trail alongside the whole Serpent, and other things to view along the way. The workers were respectful but the gift shop was closed! ( We happened to visit an awesome Rock Shop down the road instead. )

Really cool place! No one knows who built it, or why? Nice, well maintained grounds. Museum is REALLY cool ! Lots of stuff for sale. Lots of educational items, even an educational video playing. Great little walk around this ancient mystery!

Wow! This was a really cool experience, seeing what Native Americans built so many years ago, and being inside of an ancient meteor crater too. Gift shop and museum were a nice break from the heat, friendly staff. The observation tower being closed was slightly disappointing, however I plan on a return visit once it's fixed! And..only 8$ a carload! Bring the kids, dog and cooler, on site picnic tables and a large covered picnic shelter house.

Amazing to stroll around this ancient monument and ponder the people who built it, the events that took place - lost to time. The site is very well maintained and nicely presented. A small museum, gift shop, restrooms, and a picnic shelter are all available. The observation tower is currently closed for repairs. Free admission. Parking is $8 per vehicle.
