The food is delicious, and the folks working here are very nice. They helped us figure out what to try as it was our first visit.
There was unfortunately another couple who arrived just after us who insisted on having a loud conversation with someone on speakerphone and the conversation topic wasn't appropriate for mealtime.
I need to try them again sometime to try more of the menu.

Wonderful experience!! Ordered ahead and order was ready once I walked in. The employees were very lovely and nice. Food was good, hot, and portions were huge. Go here!! Support local Chinese businesses!

Excellent service. They are so nice here. The food was excellent too & there was plenty of it. Prices were fair & everything was fresh & made to order. We will definitely be here again.

Sometimes people open a restaurant because they want to make money. Sometimes they do so because they love the food they make and they want to share that love with their customers. Shanghai Bistro is this second kind of place. The first thing I noticed when I walked in the door was the cleanliness of the restaurant. The second thing I noticed was the friendliness of the proprietors; the warm greeting and their attention to my needs. The restaurant was charming and comfortable. And the music was gentle and relaxing. The Lunch specials are underpriced for what you get. I had the Tao's Chicken on Rice which was plentiful with ample chicken, a sweet brown sauce, and perfectly prepared vegetables on a properly proportioned bed of fried rice. I also highly recommend a spring roll starter. Not because you still hungry, but because it's sooo good.

What do I look forward to seeing eventually at this place? A fee more colorful wall decorations. A beer license (with some local Cincinnati microbrewery options on the list), more pictures of the menu items, and more people!!
