Specialty Gas House

Best place in Columbus for gas and charcoal grills. Tons of rubs, smoking wood, charcoal and other accessories. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable.

We've owned our home for about 5 years, and we haven't had the gas fireplace serviced in all that time. This winter, it became hit n' miss for it to light. Despite a couple month backlog, Specialty Gas House was able to work us into their schedule much earlier than anticipated. The tech thoroughly cleaned the entire unit inside and out, identified the problem as a clogged pilot line, went over all of the wiring, and meticulously put everything back together. It's never looked or worked better!

Knowledgeable, friendly, prompt, and no nonsense. My recent experience with my technician Grant and Specialty Gas House as a whole was close to perfect. The estimation effort was clear and certain, and the entire cost was less than half of other estimates received (sought 3 total estimates for the job.) Job was a gas line install of approximately 25 ft, two shut off valves, and installation/setup of gas log set and burner.

Our technician, Grant, was on time, courteous, and very knowledgeable. He respected my request for a mask in the home, and he was completed with the job within 3 hours. He even took the time to explain the maintenance of the set.

The only thing I wish could've been done differently is knowing about SGH before I purchased my burner kit privately. I was informed that I may have paid slightly less for the installation effort and there's an extended warranty if doing both purchase and install.

We had Specialty Gas House install gas logs at our old house last year. I really wanted a fireplace here and had no idea what to do. There was a wood stove here when we moved in. Specialty Gas House suggested getting the mantle and gas insert.
