I ordered a cake from Sam for my wife’s birthday during a trip to Joshua Tree. The cake was DELICIOUS and Sam’s design & decorations were awesome. Great quality and overall experience from order to pickup.

Let me begin by saying Sam is the best cake artist in the Hi-Desert.. hands down she is amazing! I am a returning costumer and will continue to be. I recently ordered a cake for my wife. all she needed was an idea and she ran with it and built a masterpiece of a cake.. We didn’t want to eat it just because it was so beautiful and it tastes as good as it looks!! Don’t hesitate to call her, she does amazing work!!

We cannot recommend Sam's cakes enough! Samantha called us ahead of time and delivered promptly on time which was great since we weren't from the area. I found SAM Co off of Yelp and was nervous because we wouldn't be able to taste the cakes ahead of time but everything was perfect.

She made three cakes for us - 2 birthday and one wedding cake and each was executed to perfection. I was shocked that she made a cake IDENTICAL to the Pinterest pics I sent.

Furthermore, the taste of each cake was out of this world. I am from the South (Georgia) and my grandmother makes all of her cakes from scratch and did wedding cakes for 30+ years so it is very rare for me to complement someone else's cakes, but Samantha's cakes were undeniable. She also went the extra mile by providing extra supplies such as support tools for the cake and candles.

I have never ordered a cake before so I was a little bit nervous, but I am so happy that I ordered my daughters 9th birthday cake from sugar and magic cake company. Besides the cake being beautiful and my daughter being so excited, the cake was delivered exactly on time, they even included birthday candles! I was also sent a thank you note in the mail. It was honestly such a wonderful customer service experience and I will absolutely be ordering from this company again. Im so happy to help such a great small business and will recommend them to everyone I know!

Sam at Sugar and Magic Cake Company in Yucca Valley, Ca is absolutely amazing cake maker. My sister surprised me for my birthday with an awesome purse and then had it made into a DELICIOUS (even though it looked so amazing I didn't want to cut it) eye catching cake. Sam put in so many details into creating the purse cake and I ended up bringing the cake to work to share as well as the purse and people couldn't believe their eyes that it was a cake next to the purse. ***5 STARS*** Sam is amazing at what she does and I can't wait to get another cake from her soon!!!
