I went to learn more about pottery and haven't left. You come for pottery but you stay for the people. Everyone is friendly and wants to see you succeed. This place has a spirit and warmth you cannot fully put words to ❤️.

Attended a private event where we made textured mugs. Bonnie was an excellent instructor. I love the way my mug turned out and had a blast making it. We also received them back sooner than expected. Besides the finished results, my favorite parts were seeing that Bonnie was barefoot and making a joke when they passed out the clay for the handles of the mug. I said "I don't know if I can handle this." Bonnie politely laughed at my joke and was great at answering all my questions.

We had a stellar girls night out doing a slab build with Adrianna. Originally I booked a wheel night but they let us switch it up when I saw all the cool slab projects. They also accommodated our dates on the week the studio was closed, which was very kind. I’m also in a beginner wheel class, which is way harder than HBO Max makes it look, but my teachers are patient and the open studio hours give me time to figure things out. There’s a really mellow vibe here and I recommend this to anyone who wants to play with clay!!

I’ve learned so much at Whistle Stop Clay. For beginners or more advanced students it’s a great place to develop your skills with ceramics. Instructors are very knowledgeable and willing to share. It’s a wonderful community of local artists. They also have fun events I highly recommend!

Excellent instructors and quiet a cozy place. Me and my mom went there for as our Mother's day activity together and couldn't make it to the actual scheduled 'Cocktails and Clay' workshop. But upon our request, the instructors (Adriana and Bonnie) went out of their way to accommodate us the next day and made us feel welcomed, which said a lot about their courteousness and willingness to get us involved in an art they loved so much.
