Yoder's Oak & Cherry

We have purchased furniture from Yoder's Oak & Cherry on a couple of occasions and have been completely satisfied with the quality and workmanship. Marvin is a pleasure to work with. My wife and I had gone to a local furniture store to purchase a dining room table, chairs, buffet and also a kitchen table and chairs. We found that what the store had available was not the size we wanted and that they could not special order what we requested. We went to visit Yoder's Oak & Cherry and were greeted by the owner Marvin Yoder. He is very knowledgeable, helpful and patient. We picked out the style, wood type and colors we wanted and he made everything to our exact measurements.

We love our furniture. It is well made and exactly what we ordered. The cost was equivalent to the lesser quality furniture the local store was offering.

Finally, the company Yoder's Oak & Cherry uses to delivery the furniture, JDB Transport, was fantastic. They delivered the furniture at the stated time, carried everything inside and assembled the different pieces. The young made who delivered the furniture could not have been nicer.

Best place to get Exactly what you want and amazingly low prices! Marvin listens and helped me design several pieces for our new home! He had them built just as I had described! We live our custom pieces including a walnut and beechwood bedroom set, walnut counter chairs, walnut live edge with waterfall side end tables and coffee table, oak dinette set with swivel chairs and custom walnut bench with rocks my husband had collected from all over the world set In Acrylic! All of the pieces are one of a kind, beautiful workmanship and delivery was a breeze! THANK YOU Marvin and Nettie for making a house our home! Everyone that has seen the furniture as commented on how beautiful each and every piece is made! If you want your furniture made with your design or choose from the thousands of designs offered, Go See Marvin! Every time I would say Marvin can you make this (I would share my vision) The only answer I he said was “Yes I can”!

Two years ago we ordered a custom made 7 foot cherry table in Michael's finish with 6 chairs, a 7 foot bench and a custom made China cabinet from Yoder's Oak and Cherry and couldn't be happier. The craftsmanship, fit and finish and price was more than worth it. If anyone is looking to have a nice piece of furniture made that can be handed down through the generations, this is it.

We enjoyed dealing with Marvin Yoder and enjoyed his dry wit. His prices were very good. Even with the delivery charges to SC, we saved at least 1/3 over local "sale" prices.

The only problem I had was his estimate of the shipping costs. The price was twice that when the delivery guy called with delivery date and cost.

We called Marvin as soon as the delivery guy called & a seemingly surprised Marvin reduced the price to the same as a trucking company quote we had and said he would settle the difference with the delivery guy.

I will definitely deal with Marvin in the future but will nail down a delivery price in advance by having a trucking line quote for delivery.
