Just let me tell you! This place is a hidden gem in Dayton, ohio.... Free Admission, free parking!
What an excellent way to spend a day with the kids and family and I mean all day! I'm rating this as a 10 outta 10, what an amazing experience and humongous place to visit.

This is a really neat experience. It's a great way to spend the afternoon or even the day. Learn some history and see some cool planes. (Along with much more) its a humbling experience knowing so many have died in the past) definitely a good place for people of all ages to learn some history. Some things like 3d experiences cost some $$. There are also locations to purchase some food and drinks as well as souvenirs.

Absolutely fantastic museum. One would need 3 days, may be 4 if you want to visit and read every exhibit. I think that children, adults, and families can all benefit from a visit to this great museum because being able to see real aircrafts and so many other pieces of historical equipment makes a big difference. For example one gets a very good idea of the dimensions of diverse planes, and I'm sure children will benefit from developing their imagination and potentially, one day, becoming airmen and airwomen.
Only 60 or 75 minutes from Cincinnati, plenty of parking, get good walking shoes cause you will need them.

It's huge and it's free (though I suggest a donation given the experience you are about to have). Incredible collection from early biplanes, WW1, WW2, Korea, Vietnam, cold war, space ... i love the way many airplanes are set up in very realistic life-size dioramas.
Had to return for a 2nd day as on my 1st one did nopt manage to cover the museum entirely.
One of the highlights of the visit was the actual B-17 "Memphis Belle", majestically displayed.
Another would be the XB-70 Valkyre bomber, can't believe the size of that thing and it's right there towering above you!

This is a very well-planned and perfectly organized museum with no entry fee. The volunteers are eager and able to answer any question you have. My husband and I spent five hours there, which included a light lunch at the restaurant located near the entrance of the museum.
