Carillon Historical Park

A great experience overall with a lot of incredible history. I love that the goal is to build up Dayton and all the incredible people who played a part in its history.
Admittedly I did come with a school so things are probably ran a little different when there are busloads of students coming at once.

Employees are a little intense about who qualifies for train rides and carousel rides. Why not just include it in admission prices?
I understand you need to make money but also the kids already paid to get in, is that dollar really making that big of a difference if the train is already running and so is the carousel?

It was an amazing experience in Dayton. The place is not just historical but it also mix the knowledge from all the inventions explained by the authors which was really fun. Beautiful view from the tower and the brewery was a good spot for food and beverage

This place is a nice area to go for a walk and to experience the history of the railroad and The Wright brothers.
$12 for adults and 3 and under are free admission. Train rides are available base on a schedule. Mini train rides for children and grownups as well that last about 5-8 minutes long. The park itself is nice and well keep. Restaurant on sight and clean restrooms are available along with wheelchair parking.
Come here for a nice outing with family. It was a great experience and something to do that can take up most of your day and get fresh air as well as learning something new 🙂.

Very well laid out exhibit and informative, nice to walk around and see lots of local history. Dayton great flood, transportation, Wright Bros. Can’t wait to see the 1/4 scale train when it opens up late 2022. Climbing the 120 step Brethren Clock tower you can see the current incomplete miniature train track layout. Enjoyed the visit.

Whether it’s the history, the natural scenery, or the interactive areas the Carillon Historical Park is a landmark that will be enjoyed by the whole family. Truthfully, you could spend all day here or split it up amongst a few days. The museum has both indoor and outdoor area to be entertained which is great depending on the time of year. We look forward to coming back through the seasons!
