This place is fabulous! It is truly one of the hidden gems in our area. There is always something fun going on. We just so happened to come on the same day that they were were featuring the caterpillar lab group. The staff is always friendly and the multiple nature trails that feature caves are wonderful!

This was such a surprise place to find. The trails behind the museum were great and beautiful. Can not wait to go back. Just wish I had known it was there sooner than now.

First time going to this hidden gem. The pictures are of the .5 mile trail. I can't seem to remember the name of it. But the trail was nice and picturesque. Be careful with the steps going down as I felt they could have the potential to be slick with the leaves but there is a handrail to hold on to while descending to the lower part of the gorge. There was also another trail but I ran out of time to do. I believe it was 3.0 miles give or take. I would assume it would take you to the top of the gorge to look down. (Only speculation though).

Been going here my whole life! Used to have birthday parties here as a kid when it was 7 caves. Would love to see photos from how the caves used to look. Definitely a very special place for me. And I always look forward to coming back ❤️

We love these trails! The museum is open right now and has bathrooms and maps. All of the trails start through the museum and out to the back porch. I love using the Seek app to identify plants and bugs spotted along the trails.
