Really Recovered

I know that Brittany is a whole trash can full of everything you wouldn't want to imagine. From a young age I experienced neglect, abuse, shame, loneliness.. all that trauma turned into years of abusing every kind of mind altering substance I could get my hands on. It turned in to disrespecting my body to get drugs, seeking out every false "love". I have lost custody of my children, with one being adopted out. My husband died of an overdose and My family thinks I'm scum. I literally was a deadman walking. I have done things I've never thought I'd do.. BUT Jesus.. I was at the end of my rope.. literally. I was thinking about ending it all. In that moment I cried out to the Lord.. and around the corner came a person that was walking with Jesus.. this person said let me help you please. I was so broken 💔 immediately as I was walking into the doors here at really recovered I felt genuinely loved.. and wanted, and that's the beautiful thing.. Jesus chases us down, Jesus wants us no matter how broken we are. Jesus gets the glory for it all. Really Recovered is a Faith Based sober-minded house.. I let go of that rope and free fell into Jesus. I have experienced true joy in the valleys.. I have a new identity. The old life that once was what I thought I'd be condemned to is completely gone. I am different. I'm living life finally. The real good life. Doors are being reopened that I never thought would be. I have family that loves me and are happy to see me :) .. My children (even the one that is adopted) are coming back around.. I'm grateful for who Jesus is and all that he does. I'm grateful for his faithfulness. I'm mind blown every moment when I meditate on the FACT that Jesus thinks and loves and wants little old me.. that Jesus wants to use me to advance his Kingdom.. Our kingdom. Where we will on that glorious day when he comes to harvest the earth, be united with Jesus for eternity.. and all of this is because Really Recovered was obedient and believed.. I love you Meg & Ken..
