I completed my Private Pilot's License with Speed Hunter Aviation in October. Ed, my instructor, was awesome. He has thousands of hours of flight experience and is a great teacher. Jake maintains the plane extremely well. He's very particular about making sure it's in perfect flying condition. While working a full time job, I was able to get my PPL in less than 6 months because of Speed Hunter Aviation. I always recommend them to future pilots.

Speed Hunter Aviation is an amazing flight school - probably one of the best in the area - and Jake is an incredible instructor, I could not have achieved my PPL without him! Started my flying with another school and after a long cross country with a myriad of technical problems I decided the planes at that school were not sufficiently maintained and they were just out to get my money.

With Speed Hunter Jake is out to get you flying! He is very real world with his training and focuses on safety. He has thousands of hours experience in all types of planes. He will have you repeating in your head his quirky sayings. "Airspeed aim point" "high low fast or slow" to name a couple. He can be tough when he needs to be but also can have fun when he senses your frustrations rising.

The plane is fantastic! Meticulously maintained and flies like a dream and is continually upgraded with the latest being a new landing light! I donated a foam cushion as the seats I found to be slightly uncomfortable. Feel free to use!

Finished my PPL and continuing on to IFR with Jake.

Jake is a very experienced instructor that blends safety with real world application on the ground and in the air. The training plane is meticulously maintained and provides a very stable platform for learning. Started my training in the Speed Hunter aircraft and finished my PPL in my own plane after purchasing. Highly recommend.
