Great education facility, and great adult ed program. Hugely improved from what it was ten years ago when I went for welding.
David Guinn, the adult ed department head, is a man who really cares about the school and the students. If you sign up for the advanced manufacturing technology adult ed course, you will get a lot of great hands on experience, as well as a complete knowledge base. A piece of advice about the advanced manufacturing technology instructors: let Steve Abner do most of the teaching you receive, he is simply better at teaching. The other instructor, who co-teaches the course alongside him, Jeff, has his moments where he can really shine, but don't let him push you around and mess with you too much. My experience with Jeff has been mostly him telling stories about all the places he has traveled to and worked at, and telling me to "figure it out" and not actually helping or explaining things, or teaching, whenever I asked him for help or to explain something, and micromanages you. You might as well be learning without an instructor if Jeff is involved, because you are not being taught, anyway. Don't let him push you around, and turn to Steve for help and instruction.

I went to this metro store on Friday to switch my son's phone on our account because his phone broke and a friend gave us an old metro phone that they had cause they switched their carrier, the guy that was working that day said he couldn't do it and offered to give us a new phone, I didn't have the money so I said no, I went back on Saturday and spoke to a lady named Sonia and she was able to switch the phones, she had fantastic customer service and helped me out tremendously. All the workers their should be like Sonia and help the customers like they should.

After a stressful experience at another location, this location was truly refreshing! Sonia is the sweetest person I've ever encountered in retail. After telling her about my experience at the other location, she went above and beyond to help me rectify the situation. I mean she would not let me leave there until she verified with customer care that my accounts were fixed and my bill was right. I have never been more pleased with a customer service experience as I was last night. I will definitely return for all my Metro related business, even if the drive is a little longer (it's worth it for piece of mind). You can trust that you will receive fair and honest service here. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Ms. Sonia is awesome!

I was here for an event highlighting their ProStart Culinary Program and was very impressed with the facilities, the faculty and staff, the students, and the great program they have built together.

Attending WCCC has been great. I'm almost finished with the PLC Technician classes. For someone working and attending Adult Education classes, I have had a great experience of getting to work at my pace. There is always something to learn and another skill to work on. The instructors are helpful and always available when you need them. Any time I've had trouble, they have always been able to help me understand.

Great school with great programs. I have been attending the career center for over a year now in the Electromechanical PLC course and this school has helped me learn a vast amount and it has helped me attain a job as a maintenance technician and Dave Guinn the head of advanced manufacturing helped me write a decent resume and cover letter to get the job I attained, he also has helped me find multiple temp agencies and multiple job openings, this school has helped me gain the experience I needed to start my career and is a great school to attend with many great programs.
